Strobilo
Lamp / by Migliore+Servetto
Light, matter, air, water. The Strobilo lamp embodies the unstoppable force of these elements, a piece of lighting and furniture inspired by nature in all its forms. Migliore+Servetto capture the harmony and balance that result in a pure design.
The union of opposites
The Strobilo table lamp is born from the meeting of strength and lightness, between the materiality of stone and the transparency of glass, between its aesthetic presence and the elusiveness of light.
Its two circular elements, the cylindrical glass body and the marble top, seem sculpted by the wind.
This element recalls the vortex of water shaping the rock over time with light gently emerging from the base to refract in the upper disc. The concept is perfectly expressed in both versions of this lamp, which come in two different diameters.
Poetic and imaginative, even when switched off.

Light point
Strobilo expresses itself through indirect light. From the base, the light spreads softly and evenly along the cylindrical body, then gathers in the funnel-shaped cavity of the upper disc, which acts as a delicate filter.
Migliore+Servetto envisions it as a luminous limbo, designed to interact with natural light, blending itself in a rarefied atmosphere. Strobilo does more than just illuminate, it transforms the space, enveloping it in gentle shadows and silent reflections, evoking the withheld sensation of a secret clearing, where light softly filters through the branches and invites tranquility.
